Hernandez wins second event at Texas Diving Invitational

Hailey Hernandez and Bridget O'Neil set season bests in 1-meter
AUSTIN, Texas – Hailey Hernandez of the No. 2 women's swim and dive program won the 1-meter dive on the second day of the Texas Diving Invitational.
Hernandez narrowly beat Bridget O'Neil with a score of 353.10 points to 353.00 points. The pair went one-and-two in both the 1-meter and 3-meter on the opening two nights of competition and posted season best scores on the 1-meter.
Freshman Caroline Kupka earned her second third-place finish with her score of 334.20 points. Amanda Stalfort finished fourth with a season-best 307.60 points and Sarah Carruthers was sixth with 295.95 to round out the Texas competitors.
The Longhorns finish the three-day dive meet with the platform events at 1:30 p.m. and will be streamed on Longhorn Network.
