No. 3 Women's TF Alfred named to Bowerman Watch List

Kennedy Simon makes first appearance on list after receiving votes in February.
AUSTIN, Texas - No. 3 women's track and field sprinter Julien Alfred remained on the Bowerman Watch List for the month of February. The award is presented annually by the USTFCCCA to the most outstanding male and female NCAA track and field athlete with updates occurring each month.
Alfred was named to the preseason Watch List and has kept her spot after improving her previous NCAA-leading time in the 60m dash to 7.02 seconds. The time currently ranks as the second-fastest time in the world and still leads the NCAA after two weeks.
The St. Lucia native was a semifinalist for the award in 2022 after her undefeated 100m season.

The next Bowerman Watch List will be announced on March 1st for the women and March 2nd for the men.
