Pash, Jacoby win gold and Swim & Dive earns seven medals at three meets

Lydia Jacoby won the 200-meter breaststroke at Mare Nostrum Barcelona; Kelly Pash won the 200-meter butterfly at the TYR Pro Series in Mission Viejo, Calif.
AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Swimming and Diving secured seven podium finishes at a trio of meets on Thursday, including gold-medal performances by Lydia Jacoby and Kelly Pash. On the day, Texas collected two gold medals, four silvers and a bronze.
Jacoby kicked the off the day's action for Texas winning gold in the 200-meter breaststroke at the Barcelona stop of the Mare Nostrum Tour, swimming a lifetime best of 2:24.03 to claim her second victory in as many days in Spain after winning the 100m breast on Wednesday. The mark 200m time is the 11th-fastest in the world this season.
Pash was part of a 1-2 finish for Texas in the 200-meter butterfly at the TYR Pro Swim Series in Mission Viejo, Calif., narrowly out-touching teammate Dakota Luther. The duo both posted top-10 times in the world this season, as Pash posted a lifetime best of 2:08.20 and Luther followed in 2:08.25.
On the men's side, Nick Harris won silver at the USA Diving Spring Nationals, scoring 695.85 with partner Max Fowler in the 3-meter synchro.
At the TYP Pro, Jake Foster won silver in the 100m breast, touching the wall in 1:00.81.
In the 400m free, Coby Carrozza won silver with a time of 3:50.90 and Alec Enyeart claimed the bronze in 3:51.86, narrowly defeating teammate David Johnston, who swam 3:51.91 to place fourth.
Incoming Longhorn Jillian Cox had another stellar showing, tallying a silver-medal swim in the women's 400m free (4:10.22), following her gold-medal performance in the 1500m free on Wednesday.
