AUSTIN, Texas — Devon Pryor has signed an Athletic Scholarship Agreement (ASA) to play basketball next season at The University of Texas, head coach Rodney Terry announced Wednesday. Pryor has reclassified academically and plans to join the Longhorns for the upcoming 2023-24 season.
Pryor (6-7, 180), a wing from Houston, Texas, played his junior season at PSAT-XEA Academy. He is No. 21 in the state of Texas, No. 45 among all small forwards and No. 209 nationally by 247 Sports in the final Class of 2023 rankings.
Pryor played this summer for One Time Legends on the Adidas 3SSB (3 Stripes Select Basketball) circuit, a team that was coached by seven-time NBA All-Star Tracy McGrady.
