Texas claims No. 7 seed and will face Kansas State in Wednesday’s second round at 6 p.m. Central in Kansas City.

IRVING, Texas — The pairings for the 2024 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship have been set, conference officials announced Saturday evening. Texas (20-11, 9-9 Big 12) is the No. 7 seed in the tournament and will open play in a second-round contest against No. 10 seed Kansas State on Wednesday, March 13 at 6 p.m. Central (Big 12 Now/ESPN+).

Should Texas win its second-round game, the Longhorns would advance to face No. 2 seed Iowa State in the quarterfinals on Thursday, March 14 at 6 p.m. Central. Semifinal contests are scheduled to be played on Friday, March 15, and the championship game is slated for Saturday, March 16 at 5 p.m. Central on ESPN.
