Men’s Basketball to compete in 2024 Legends Classic at Barclays Center

The four-team event will feature Texas, Syracuse, Saint Joseph’s and Texas Tech on Nov. 21-22, 2024.
BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The University of Texas Men's Basketball team will join Syracuse, Saint Joseph's and Texas Tech in the 2023 Legends Classic presented by Old Trapper at Barclays Center on November 21-22, 2024, the Gazelle Group announced Wednesday. Semifinal pairings and television coverage will be announced at a later date.
Single-day and discounted two-day package tickets for the 2024 Legends Classic presented by Old Trapper will be on-sale starting Friday, March 15 at 9 a.m. Central (10 a.m. Eastern) on Ticketmaster.com.
Texas will make its fourth appearance in the Legends Classic. The Longhorns competed in the inaugural event in 2007 in addition to competing in the tourney in 2011 and 2016. UT won the Legends Classic in 2007 after recording a 97-78 victory over then-No. 7 Tennessee in the championship game.
