Men’s Tennis advances four in singles, three in doubles at ITA Texas Regionals

Four out of five singles players moved to the round of 32 and all three doubles pairs went on to the round of 16 on Saturday.
College Station, Texas – Texas Men's Tennis advanced four out of five singles players to the round of 32 and all three doubles pairs to the round of 16 at the ITA Texas Regional Championships in College Station on Saturday.
In singles, senior 3 seed No. 37 Jonah Braswell, sophomore 4 seed No. 54 Sebastian Eriksson, sophomore Evan Burnett and freshman 15 seed Lucas Marionneau all moved on, while freshman Mariano Dedura-Palomero fell in his match and will compete in the consolation bracket.
In doubles, the 5 seed of Eriksson and senior Sebastian Gorzny, the 11 seed of Braswell and Burnett, and the 16 seed of Marionneau and Dedura-Palomero all came away with victories to reach the round of 16.
Doubles play begins Sunday morning at 9 a.m. with singles taking place later in the morning into the afternoon.
