SEC announces opponents and locations for 2025-26 Women’s Basketball schedule

Texas will host Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Texas A&M, Oklahoma and LSU.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Southeastern Conference announced each school's conference opponents in addition to home and away designations for games on its 2025-26 Women's Basketball schedule today. The 2025-26 conference season will start on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026.
For Texas, home contests in the fourth year of Moody Center will feature Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Texas A&M, Oklahoma and LSU. The Longhorns went 17-0 at home in the 2024-25 season and hold an overall record of 49-5 at Moody Center. The Longhorns will make road trips to face Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and LSU.
The conference schedule consists of a single round robin of home or away (14 games) with one rotating opponent that will be played at home and away (2 games). Each team will play eight home games and eight away games. The rotating opponent changes annually. This marks the 17th season of the 16-game schedule for women's basketball.
The regular season concludes with the 2026 SEC Women's Basketball Tournament being held for the ninth time at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, S.C. The tournament, which will include all 16 teams, begins on Wednesday, March 4 and concludes with the championship game on Sunday, March 8.

The Longhorns are coming off a historic season in 2024-25 as they won 35 games to set a program record for wins in the NCAA Era. Texas advanced to the Final Four for the first time in 22 years and won the SEC regular season championship in their first season in the league. Madison Booker was named the SEC Player of the Year and an Associated Press First Team All-American. Booker won the Cheryl Miller Small Forward of the Year award for the second straight season. Rori Harmon and Taylor Jones earned WBCA All-America honorable mention honors and Jordan Lee earned a spot on the SEC All-Freshman Team.
