Tip times and television networks announced for 2025 ACC/SEC Challenge

The Longhorns will host Virginia in Moody Center on Dec. 3 at 8 p.m. Central on ESPNU.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — ESPN announced the network schedule for the third annual ACC/SEC Men's and Women's Basketball Challenge, a multi-night event that matches men's and women's college basketball teams from two of the nation's top conferences. Texas will host Virginia on Wednesday, Dec. 3 in Moody Center at 8 p.m. Central on ESPNU.
Both the men's and women's ACC/SEC Basketball Challenges will be televised across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ACC Network and SEC Network. Due to television considerations, nine of the 16 games in this season's men's Challenge will be played on Tuesday, Dec. 2, while the other seven games will be played on Wednesday, Dec. 3.
This will mark the first meeting between Texas and Virginia in men's basketball. In last year's SEC/ACC Challenge, the Longhorns registered a 63-59 victory at NC State (Dec. 4, 2024).
The men's Challenge games are scheduled to take place on the first Tuesday and Wednesday after Thanksgiving through at least the 2027-28 season.
