Below you will find detailed information about the Texas Football season ticket process and how to position yourself to be one of the 100,000+ fans at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium next season:
You must be a 2026 Longhorn Foundation donor (minimum of $50 annual gift) by the Loyalty Points lock date (March 5, 2026) to be eligible for the opportunity to receive a timeslot for the online season ticket and parking selection process that will take place in April/May.
Your place on the waitlist is determined by your Loyalty Points rank, which rewards lifetime giving to Texas Athletics. The more Loyalty Points you have, the higher ranked you will be on the waitlist. Being on the waitlist does not guarantee you will qualify to select Texas Football season tickets.
There are two ways to become a Longhorn Foundation member and start earning Loyalty Points – a seat-related gift or a Longhorn Excellence gift.
SEAT-RELATED GIFT
Most season ticket options for Texas Athletics sports require an annual fund gift, also known as your "seat-related gift". Seat-related gifts earn two (2) Loyalty Points per every $100 donated. If you are selected from the waitlist to receive a timeslot for season ticket selection, the seat-related gift you have already made will be applied to the seat-related gift that comes with the season tickets you select. LONGHORN EXCELLENCE
Another option is a Longhorn Excellence gift, which is a 100% tax deductible gift that earns you five (5) loyalty points per every $100 donated. Gifts to Longhorn Excellence accrue Loyalty Points faster than a seat-related gift, which in turn helps you generate a higher Loyalty Points rank. This type of gift is philanthropic and cannot be used at a later date to cover a seat-related gift. Make a Longhorn Excellence Gift Now!
It is also important to note that both of these gifts (seat-related and Longhorn Excellence) are non-refundable and non-transferable. Longhorn Excellence gifts cannot be converted to seat-related gifts at a later date. In the event we do not have enough inventory to provide you a timeslot for season ticket selection, any seat-related gift will be converted to a Longhorn Excellence gift to better help your chances at being selected off the waitlist next year.
The number of accounts on the waitlist that receive a timeslot for season ticket selection is determined by available inventory we have to sell to new buyers. With the heightened demand for season tickets, we unfortunately cannot guarantee that everyone on the waitlist will receive a timeslot for season ticket selection.
As announced at Chris Del Conte's Town Hall on February 4, the Loyalty Points lock date is Thursday, March 5. This is the last day that you can make a gift to boost your spot in line on the Texas Football waitlist. After the conclusion of our renewal process for current season ticket holders, all eligible Longhorn Foundation donors on the waitlist will be notified in April if you did or did not receive a seat selection timeslot.
All fans on the waitlist who are not given a timeslot and/or do not select new season tickets will remain on the waitlist for next season. Please note that fans must be a Longhorn Foundation donor with a minimum gift of $50 each year to be eleigible to come off the waitlist.
How can I access the best possible season ticket inventory?
Consider becoming a DeLoss Dodds Leadership Team (DDLT) member by making a minimum annual donation of $25,000 to unlock the Longhorn Foundation benefit of priority selection for Texas Football season tickets and parking! If interested, please contact the Longhorn Foundation at 512-471-4439.
