SEC announces opponents and locations for 2026-27 Men’s Basketball schedule

Texas will host Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas A&M in Moody Center during its third season in the league.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Southeastern Conference announced each school's conference opponents in addition to home and away designations for games on its 2026-27 Men's Basketball schedule. Dates, times and television information will be revealed at a later date.
For Texas, home opponents in the fifth year of Moody Center and the third season in the SEC will feature Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas A&M. The Longhorns will make road trips to face Florida, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt.
Conference play tips off on Saturday, January 2 and runs through Saturday, March 6. Each SEC team plays the other 15 teams at least once during league play. Three teams will be played a second time during the schedule, two of which are permanent opponents and one that will change each year.
The SEC Tournament will be played at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn., on March 10-14, 2027.
