• placed 16th in the 1500m freestyle (16:31.30), 23rd in the 800m freestyle (8:41.10) and 25th in the 400m freestyle (4:14.70)
2008 BEIJING OLYMPICS
• Won her 400m freestyle heat in 4:11.99 to place 20th overall and claimed her 800m freestyle heat in 8:33.51 to place 18th; also placed 30th in the 400m IM at 4:47.32
AS A JUNIOR (2008-09)
• placed 16th in the 1,650 freestyle (16:09.14), 18th in the 500 freestyle (4:41.33) and 44th in the 200 freestyle (1:47.65) at the NCAA Championships
• won the 1,650 freestyle (16:13.53), placed second in the 500 freestyle (4:41.87) and took seventh in the 200 freestyle (1:47.36) at the Big 12 Championships
• took second in the 200 freestyle (1:49.17) against SMU
• won the 1,650 freestyle (16:23.41) and took second in the 500 freestyle (4:46.87) against Arizona

AS A SOPHOMORE (2007-08)
• earned her first individual All-America honor by taking seventh in the 500 freestyle (4:41.86) at the NCAA Championships
• added her first individual honorable mention All-America certificate by taking 10th in the 1,650 freestyle in a new personal-best mark of 16:07.89 at the NCAA Championships; also placed 29th in the 400 IM at the NCAA meet
• captured her first Big 12 individual title, winning the 1,650 freestyle in a then-personal best of 16:18.86
• placed second in the 500 freestyle (4:43.36) and fourth in the 400 IM (4:13.84) at the Big 12 Championships
• claimed the 500 freestyle against Arizona (4:53.94), Texas A&M (4:52.20) and SMU (4:50.89)

• placed 18th in the 500-yard freestyle (4:45.82), 22nd in the 400-yard IM (4:17.77) and 41st in the 1,650-yard freestyle (16:51.29) at the NCAA Championship
• placed second in the 500 freestyle (4:46.18), fourth in the 400 IM (4:17.58) and fifth in the 1,650 freestyle (16:32.31) at the Big 12 Championship
• claimed the 500 freestyle at Texas A&M (4:53.62)
• added second-place finishes in the 500 freestyle against Nebraska (4:56.55), Stanford (4:54.76), and Indiana (4:54.92) and against Arizona and SMU (4:51.88)
• captured the 1,650 freestyle against Arizona and SMU (16:43.59)
• claimed the 400 IM at Georgia (4:22.59) and added second-place finishes in the event against Stanford (4:20.18) and Arizona and SMU (4:19.37)
• took second in the 200 butterfly against Texas A&M (2:02.34) and Georgia (2:03.40)
OTHER INTERNATIONAL MEETS
• helped Mexico to fourth place in the 800-meter freestyle relay (split 2:04.06) and placed seventh in the 400-meter IM (4:52.30) at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
• captured three gold medals at the Central American Games
• finalist at the 2005 World University Games
