Alcohol
No alcohol is permitted in Moody Center from the outside.
Arrival, Gate Entry, and Pedestrian Traffic Flow
Gates will open one hour prior to tip-off for men's basketball. (90 minutes prior to tip-off for students and Germania Club)
Gates will open one hour prior to tip-off for women's basketball.
The student entrance is the East Gate for men's basketball. For women's basketball, student use the Southwest gate.
Ticket Resolution is located at the Main Box office located between the West and Southwest entrances at the intersection of Robert Dedman Drive and 20th Street. Ticket Resolution will open 60 minutes prior to an event.
Automotive Assistance
If you are on the UT campus, contact the UT Police Department at 512-471-4441 for dead battery and locked car assistance before, during, and after the game.
Baby Changing Stations
There is a changing table located in the St. David's First Aid Room on the Main Concourse outside of sections 104/105. Baby changing tables can also be found in the majority of our men's, women's, and family restrooms.
The Big Ticket
For all full-time UT students, the Big Ticket with Football Access and the Big Ticket without Football gives you access ALL Texas Men's and Women's Basketball games. Big Ticket holders should just scan their UT student ID card to enter Texas Basketball games for both the Men and the Women. Visit TexasLonghorns.com/BigTicket for more information on benefits and general details.
As a reminder, the Big Ticket provides access to all regular season home ticketed events on a first-come, first-served, space-available basis. Admission is not guaranteed. Big Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be transferred or sold; it must be used by the Big Ticket holder. If your ticket is misused or resold, your Big Ticket may be revoked.
Binoculars
Binoculars are permitted in Moody Center, subject to inspection at all entrances. Binocular cases are not allowed per the clear bag policy.

- Television: Information on television broadcasts of Texas Basketball games may be found at TexasLonghorns.com. Longhorn Network offers live coverage of select home games. Contact your cable or satellite provider regarding Longhorn Network.
- Radio: Listen to Texas Basketball games on these Austin Radio Network and Longhorn IMG Radio Network affiliate stations.
- Audio streaming: Listen to Texas Basketball games online at TexasLonghorns.com/audio (FREE!). TexasLonghorns.com is available on all mobile or smartphone devices. Apple (iOS) and Android users may also stream audio broadcasts, free of charge, by downloading the Texas Longhorns mobile app. Android and Apple users may use TuneIn mobile app for live streaming of select Men's Basketball games.

Child Ticketing Policy
Children under the age of two do not require a ticket as long as the child is held and does not take up a seat.
Clear Bag Policy
A clear bag policy is in effect to enhance existing security measures and expedite venue entry at Texas Athletics events on the Forty Acres.
Approved bags include:
- Bags that are clear plastic and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
- One-gallon clear resealable plastic storage bags
- Clutch bags, purses, or wallets that are smaller than 4.5” x 6.5”
Prohibited bags include:
Non-clear bags that exceed 4.5” x 6.5” OR clear bags that exceed 12” x 6” x 12”. This includes items such as grocery totes, mesh or straw bags, duffle bags, diaper bags*, camera/binocular cases, and any other bags that stadium event staff deem do not meet the clear bag policy.
*Items normally carried in a diaper bag must be put into a clear plastic bag for venue entry.
Code of Conduct
Texas Athletics is committed to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all fans, staff, players and coaches. To help us provide this first-class environment, we ask that all patrons and attendees follow these guidelines:
- Contribute to making the environment of Texas Athletics the very best by upholding the spirit of collegiate athletics.
- Ensure all fans are treated in a consistent, professional and polite way by all staff and team personnel.
- Support our teams in a positive manner while treating visiting fans, teams and officials with dignity and respect.
- Promote an environment that minimizes disruption, creates a safe atmosphere for all, prevents interference with the game and ensures the enjoyment of the game for everyone.
- Refrain from using foul or abusive language or inappropriate gestures or attire.
- Be responsible when consuming alcoholic beverages. Impairment, intoxication, underage consumption and unruly behavior will be addressed immediately.
- Sit only in the seat designated on your ticket and be prepared to present the ticket, if requested.
- Acknowledge that The University of Texas at Austin is a tobacco-free campus, including e-cigarettes and smokeless tobacco.
- Comply with emergency messages, emergency procedures and requests from staff concerning the facility and gameday operations.

Sportsmanship Policy
Texas Athletics and the Southeastern Conference value sportsmanship, both on and off the field and in the stands. Texas is committed to providing a safe environment for all student-athletes, coaches and officials and a fun, entertaining atmosphere for all fans, free from disorderly behavior, including foul, sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, obscene or abusive language or gestures. Any spectators creating an unsafe environment or who interferes with the game by coming onto the court at any time will be removed from the facility.
Refusal to adhere to the Code of Conduct and Sportsmanship Statement may result in ejection from the facility, without refund. Violation of laws or city ordinances may result in arrest and prosecution.. Please report any issues concerning this Code of Conduct to a security guard or event staff personnel, or use the text messaging feature noted below the videoboard.
Concessions
Concession stands offer a variety of food and beverages. No outside food or drink is permitted inside Moody Center. All transactions for concessions locations will be contactless and cashless (credit cards, debit cards, and pre-paid cards only).

Court Access
Only authorized persons with proper credentials are allowed on the court. Fans entering the court area without proper credentials are subject to eviction and arrest. Credentials for court access are not available for purchase.

Major credit cards are accepted at the Texas Longhorns Official Team Shop, as well as all permanent concession stands.
Donation Requests
Requests for autographed items for nonprofit/charitable purposes must be submitted to the Texas Longhorns Official Team Shop. For more information, please refer to the Texas Athletics Autographed Items/Donation Requests Policy.

Elevator
Moody Center has elevators available to ticket holders and guests with disabilities. Check with a nearby Guest Services member for assistance.
Emergency
Moody Center strives to create a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests attending our events. For any emergency at Moody Center, including medical emergencies, notify the nearest usher or police officer.
In the event of an emergency, listen for instructions from the public address announcer; arena ushers and law enforcement will direct you to the closest safe exit. Assist other patrons who may need assistance.
Escalators
Escalators are located inside the West and East entrances.
First Aid/EMS
The St. David's HealthCare First Aid station is located on main level across from the Dell Technologies Club. This station is staffed by emergency medical technicians from the City of Austin. If you are in need of medical attention, please notify the nearest usher or police officer. Arena staff are trained to call for immediate response and assistance in emergency situations.
Food/Beverages
Patrons may not bring outside food or beverages, including alcoholic beverages, inside Moody Center. Concession stands are located throughout the concourse and offer a variety of food and beverages.
Game Dates and Times
Texas Basketball game dates and times are subject to change. In the event a game date or time change should occur, the information will be posted on TexasLonghorns.com, official social media platforms, and communicated through the local media.
High School Coach Tickets/Entrance
For Men’s Basketball games, all high school coaches must contact the Men’s Basketball office (office: 512-471-5816 or email: MBBassistant@athletics.utexas.edu) one home game in advance of the contest you wish to attend. High school coaches may request tickets for men's basketball games through our online portal (https://tickets.armssoftware.com/1LB98KEB?t=M1a8NzxN). For Women’s Basketball games, high school coaches may request tickets though our online portal (https://tickets.armssoftware.com/wEqvbgLl). Coaches are eligible for up to two complimentary tickets, dependent on availability. Recruits, High School Coaches and Visiting Team Will Call is located in the lobby of the Southwest entrance, photo ID required. This will open 60 minutes prior to tip-off.
Learfield Longhorn Sports Properties
Learfield is Texas Athletics' multimedia rights vendor, which does business in Austin as Longhorn Sports Properties (LSP). LSP produces and delivers conventional over-the-air radio, with iHeart Austin’s affiliate 1300 AM "The Zone” serving as flagship station. LSP also represents all corporate sponsorship sales for Texas Athletics, including those elements appearing in signage, gameday publications, consumer and retail promotions, social media and video. Lost and Found
During an event, guests can report lost items or turn in found items to our Guest Services booths located on each concourse.
To inquire about a lost item after an event, please fill out the form here and a member of our team will respond to claims within one to two non-event, business days.
Lost Children
Lost children should be reported to the nearest staff member or Guest Services location, one located on the Main Concourse and one on the Suite Level.
Mascots

- Hook 'Em is the official costumed mascot of the Texas Longhorns. Request Hook ’Em for your next event.
Mobile App
Through the Texas Longhorns app, fans will be able to access and manage game tickets for all regular season home events including Men’s and Women’s Basketball. All fans are encouraged to activate push notifications for important in-venue gameday messaging.

To offer greater convenience and safety, mobile-only ticketing will provide contactless entry to Moody Center for all Texas Basketball games.
All ticket holders will access tickets through TexasLonghorns.com/MyAccount on Apple and Android devices. Tickets will be available to download and store on your digital wallets.
You can download, share, and manage your tickets prior to gameday.
Step 1: Your tickets will be emailed to the email address used to originally purchase tickets prior to the game.
Step 2: Download your tickets and save them to your smartphone’s digital wallet.
Step 3: You can manage, share, transfer, or sell your tickets on SeatGeek by logging into your account at TexasLonghorns.com/MyAccount.
Step 4: On gameday, make sure your tickets are in your digital wallet and note your entry gate before heading to the game.
To expedite entry and ensure the best possible gameday experience, fans should download their tickets prior to arrival and enter through the gate shown on their mobile ticket. Please note, screenshots of tickets will NOT be accepted at Moody Center.
Scanning Your Tickets On Gameday
Step 1: Open your mobile ticket in your digital wallet as you approach your entry gate
Step 2: Use ticket readers to scan your ticket using the scanner at the entry gate and you’re in!
Noisemakers
Southeastern Conference and NCAA rules prohibit artificial noisemakers from being brought inside the facility. This includes, but is not limited to, all horns (including air horns), cow bells, thunder sticks, and whistles. Prohibited items will be confiscated.

Hand-held and pocket-sized portable radios are allowed in the facility. Please be considerate of other patrons and use an earpiece or headphones to listen to your radio.
Re-Entry Policy
There is a no re-entry policy for all Texas Basketball games at Moody Center.

Scalpers and Ticket Brokers
Per University of Texas Regents' Rules (Chapter VI, Section 6): The resale of athletics tickets, for any amount of money, on a University of Texas property, constitutes solicitation and is strictly prohibited unless permitted as defined by the Regents' Rules and Regulations. Subjects found soliciting on University of Texas property can receive a criminal trespass warning and will be required to leave University of Texas property immediately or be subject to arrest for criminal trespass.
Security

- All fans attending Moody Center events must pass through metal detectors when entering the arena.
- Suspicious activity, disruptive patrons and guest-related problems should be reported to an usher or police officer immediately. Uncooperative patrons showing disregard for other patrons, the arena or the teams may be ejected from the building. Intoxicated fans will not be allowed into the building. An ejected patron will not be allowed to return for the remainder of the game. Re-entry by an ejected patron is grounds for arrest.
- You and your belongings may be searched upon entry into the building. By tendering your ticket and entering the building, you consent to such searches and waive any related claims that you might have against The University of Texas. If you elect not to consent to a search, you will not be allowed into the building.
Smoking and Tobacco Policy
The University of Texas at Austin is a tobacco-free campus. This policy prohibits the use of any tobacco products on campus grounds, including parking areas, parking structures, lawns and sidewalks. All forms of tobacco including, but not limited to, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars, smokeless tobacco, snuff and chewing tobacco, are banned from campus.

Weapons
No weapons of any kind are permitted in the Moody Center or in any designated UT venue. This policy includes weapons used by off-duty law enforcement officers. Firearms must be secured at either the UT Police Department (corner of Dedman and Littlefield drives) or within an individual's vehicle.
The Campus Carry law (S.B. 11) does not pertain to sporting events on campus. No weapons of any kind are permitted in Texas Athletics sporting events. For full details on Campus Carry, visit https://campuscarry.utexas.edu/.
