Autographs
For all autographed item requests, please refer to the Texas Athletics autograph policy.
Binoculars
Binoculars are encouraged for viewing rowing regattas at Walter E. Long Park and Lake.

Information on television broadcasts of Texas Rowing meets and other Texas Athletics events can be found at TexasSports.com.
Cameras/Video cameras
Cameras, including professional cameras with detachable lenses, are allowed. Flash photography is allowed. Video cameras are allowed at Walter E. Long Park and Lake.

Code of Conduct
The NCAA and The University of Texas promote good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches and spectators. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Spectators are reminded that they are prohibited from entering the playing area. Negative comments directed at officials, student-athletes, coaches or team representatives are grounds for removal. The NCAA, the Big 12 Conference and The University of Texas thank you for your cooperation.
Concessions
There are no concessions at Walter E. Long Park and Lake. Fans are encouraged to bring clear water bottles to the Park for the regatta.
Credit cards
For credit card transactions, Longhorns Banking credit and debit cards from Bank of America are the preferred methods of payment.
Donation requests
Requests for autographed items for nonprofit/charitable purposes must be submitted to Texas Longhorns Official Team Shop. For more information, refer to the Texas Athletics donation/autograph policy.

Learfield IMG College/Longhorn Sports Properties
Learfield IMG College is Texas Athletics' multimedia rights vendor, which does business in Austin as Longhorn Sports Properties (LSP). LSP produces and delivers conventional over-the-air radio, with Austin Radio Network's affiliate 104.9 FM "The Horn" serving as flagship station. LSP also represents all corporate sponsorship sales for Texas Athletics and the Frank Erwin Center, including those elements appearing in signage, gameday publications, consumer and retail promotions, and video. Texas Rowing regatta dates and times are subject to change. In the event a regatta date or time change should occur, the information will be immediately posted on TexasSports.com.

Texas Longhorns Official Team Shop
Texas Longhorns Official Team Shop is the official team store of Texas Athletics. Shop online at Shop.TexasSports.com or at one of two locations in Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium during standard business hours. The west side store entrance is on San Jacinto Blvd. directly across from the Etter-Harbin Alumni Center; the east side store entrance is on Robert Dedman Dr. next to the entrance to The University of Texas Club. Major credit cards are accepted at team shop locations. For credit card transactions, Longhorns Banking credit and debit cards from Bank of America are the preferred methods of payment.
Tickets
Texas Rowing meets are non-ticketed events.

Bowloaders
Bowloaders are the kind of boats that have coxswains which sit in the bow of the boat.
Coxswain (cox)
The person who steers the shell from a seat located in the stern or a lying position in the bow.
Eights (8+) and Fours (4+)
Eights and fours are the most common collegiate competitions and the two events held at the NCAA Championships. The plus indicates a coxswain on board.
Head Race
Head races are the traditional fall regatta, in which boats cross the starting line at full speed at roughly 15 second intervals. The course usually involves navigating three miles of river, around bends and under bridges.
Sculling
Sculling is the type of rowing where each rower uses two oars.
Shell
Shell is the boat used in the rowing races; seats nine people for an Eight and five people for a Four, and ranges in length from 45 feet for a Four to 58 feet for an Eight.
Sweeping
Sweeping is the type of rowing where each rower uses one oar.
Sprint
Sprint is the type of race that features a course which is 2000 meters long, usually buoyed and from a dead stop and a stake boat. This is the NCAA distance.
