OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Investing in the future through sustainability, gameday and every day.
WHO WE ARE
Our current main focus is on achieving zero waste by the year 2020. Achieving "zero waste" means that we will divert at least 90% of all of the waste generated at our events out of landfill, either by reducing usage, reusing materials, donating materials, recycling, or composting.
We are a team comprised of full-time staff but mostly student employees who strive to implement sustainability in the day-to-day and event operations at Texas Athletics. We focus on community and fan engagement, events, volunteer recruitment, and research for our next projects.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
- Recycle and compost correctly at Texas Athletics facilities.
- Not sure where to throw something away?
- Ask a Sustainability Squad member.
- Look to the waste guidelines posted on every bin.
- Tailgaters
- Recycling bag dispensers are located in all tailgate lots.
- Take a bag.
- Fill it up with your bottles and cans.
- Leave the bag at your tailgate site. It's that easy!
