I grew up in Austin and it was always a dream of mine to wear the burnt orange and white. But what made me ultimately decide to go to UT was that it had the best combination of everything I wanted in a college--a world-class education and world-class facilities. My experience here has been nothing short of amazing.
What will help make it even more amazing will be playing at the new Moody Center this fall and practicing at our new training facility. Those two new facilities are as good as any NBA facility in the country and they're the best facilities in college sports, period. This helps us as student-athletes to achieve our goals of playing at the next level.
Having world-class facilities also helps with recruiting. When you have the best facilities, it's an advantage you have over other schools. It means you can go out and get the best players.

What starts here really does change the world, and I'm so grateful to be given the tools, connections, and everything I could ever need to be successful once my time here is done.
