The University of Texas at Austin Athletics
Media Information & Policies

COVERING THE LONGHORNS
Interview requests for Texas baseball student-athletes and coaches must be submitted to Josh White (josh.white@athletics.utexas.edu) in all instances. The Texas communications staff will make every effort to schedule a time to accommodate those requests, based on time constraints, class schedules and other obligations.
MEDIA CREDENTIALS
Requests for working media and photo credentials should be submitted to Josh White (joshwhite@athletics.utexas.edu) by sports editors or sports directors of accredited media.
Requests should be made as early as possible and should be limited to working media only. Requests made within two days of the game may not be considered. Media members may pick up their single-game credential at the front of UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
INTERVIEW POLICY
Student-athlete and coach interviews are arranged through the communications department. We will do our best to coordinate an interview that is convenient to both parties. Following each game, Texas head coach Jim Schlossnagle and select student-athletes will meet with the media in-person at UFCU Disch-Falk Field in the team meeting room after each game.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Only properly credentialed photographers will be allowed in the designated photo areas at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
NO photographers will be permitted to shoot from inside the field of play. All photographers must remain in the designated photo areas outside of the field of play. Photo credentials are subject to revocation by the Texas athletics communications office at any time.
PARKING
Media parking is extremely limited and will be made available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Parking is available in the East Campus Parking Garage, which is located on the third-base line of UFCU Disch-Falk Field. Parking is limited and will be distributed at the discretion of the Texas communications office.
LIVE BROADCASTS
It is not permissible for any non-rights holder to broadcast over the air, stream over the internet (audio or video), or transmit in any other way, any live event without the consent of the University of Texas athletics department.
Live events include varsity contests, press conferences (including but not limited to weekly scheduled and postgame press conferences) and any other group media availability. Exceptions may be made for any major newsbreaking event. Failure to follow this policy will result in having credentials revoked.
ARCHIVING OF EVENT AUDIO/VIDEO
It is not permissible for any non-rights holder to post, place, broadcast, or make available in any other way, audio or video event content that exceeds three (3) minutes in length. Events are defined as varsity contests, press conferences and any other group media availability. Archiving may not begin until the conclusion of the entire event. It is not permissible to reuse or post any video produced and/or owned by the University of Texas athletics department without the consent of the University.
UNAUTHORIZED CREDENTIAL USE
Credentials will be issued to working media only. Media credentials are not transferable and use by anyone other than members of the working media is unauthorized. Media credentials used in an unauthorized manner will be revoked immediately. Anyone allowing unauthorized individuals to use credentials will have their credentials revoked for the remainder of the year.
