Elected to transfer after spending his first two years at UMass … played in 44 career games (43 starts) and registered 792 points (18.0 ppg) and 315 rebounds (7.2 rpg) while adding 52 blocks and 47 steals during his two seasons at UMass ... in his 44 games, he reached double figures in scoring 41 times and recorded five 30-point efforts.
As a Sophomore in 2020-21 at UMass:
Played in 13 of a possible 15 games (12 starts) ... earned a spot on the Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team ... became the first UMass player to receive the honor since 2013 ... named to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team ... one of 10 midseason candidates for the Karl Malone Award, given annually to the top power forward in Division I men’s college basketball ... averaged a team-best 18.8 points and 7.2 rebounds in 32.3 minutes per contest ... converted 51.9-percent from the floor (83-160), including a 37.5-percent mark from three-point range (15-40) ... also hit 76.8-percent from the free throw line (63-82) ... posted 31 points and 11 rebounds in the season opener against Northeastern (Dec. 11) ... tallied a career-high 37 points at La Salle (Dec. 16) ... the 37 points tied for the eighth-highest point total in UMass single-game history.
