First Season at Texas
Cam Miller begins his first season as Video Analytics Coordinator for Men’s Basketball at The University of Texas. Miller brings four years of full-time collegiate experience to the Texas staff and has spent a total of seven seasons working directly with Sean Miller at both Xavier University and the University of Arizona.
Miller spent the previous three years (2022-25) at Xavier in the role of Director of Operations. During those three seasons, the Musketeers posted an overall record of 65-40 (.619) and made a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances including a trip to the Sweet 16 in 2023. Xavier registered a 22-12 overall record (13-7 BIG EAST) and advanced to the NCAA Tournament First Round during the 2024-25 season. In 2022-23, In 2022-23, the Musketeers went 27-10 overall, tied the school record for most BIG EAST wins in a season (15-5) and advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16.
Miller began his coaching career as a graduate assistant for one season (2021-22) at Saint Mary’s College (Calif.) for Randy Bennett. The Gaels registered a 26-8 overall mark, finished second in the West Coast Conference (12-3), reached the NCAA Tournament Round of 32 and were tabbed No. 18 in the final Associated Press national rankings. Saint Mary’s earned a No. 5 seed in the NCAA Tournament, marking the highest NCAA tourney seed in program history.
Born in Cary, N.C., Miller earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a Sports Management minor certificate from the University of Arizona in 2021. During his undergraduate career in Tucson, he worked for four years (2017-21) as a student manager for the Men’s Basketball program.
Miller is a 2017 graduate of Salpointe Catholic High School in Tucson, Ariz., where he scored over 1,000 career points during his prep career. During his senior season, he led his team to a runner-up finish in the Class 4A state tournament. Miller, the middle of three sons to Sean and Amy Miller, has one older brother, Austin, and a younger brother, Braden.
