Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, Colo. (head coach A.J. Kuhle) ... as a senior in 2019-20, he led his team to a 20-6 record and the semifinals of the 5A state playoffs prior to the state tournament being canceled due to COVID-19 ... averaged 7.2 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 22.1 minutes per game in his senior season ... as a junior, he averaged 12.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists per contest ... also competed in football (quarterback, sophomore through senior) and track and field (high jump as a junior and senior) for Valor Christian ... the football team won the Class 5A state title during Cole’s junior season (2018) ...
