Second Season at Texas
Parker Sexton enters his first full year as Men’s Basketball Director of Operations at The University of Texas and his second season on the Texas staff. Sexton served as Basketball Operations Assistant during the 2021-22 season. Sexton, who turned 25 on Sept. 3, is the youngest Men’s Basketball Director of Operations at a Power Six school in the nation.
Prior to coming to Texas, Sexton worked as a Football Operations Assistant at the University of Alabama. In that role, he reported directly to Head Coach Nick Saban and Chief Operating Officer Ellis Ponder and assisted in all aspects of day-to-day operations for the Crimson Tide football program.
A native of Germantown, Tenn., Sexton was a member of the golf team at The University of Texas from 2016-19. A six-time Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Sport Management with a Sports Media Certificate in three years.
Sexton and his wife, Allison, reside in Austin.
