On his Pro Timing Day experience: I thought it went pretty well overall. I was a little disappointed in my 40 time, but other than that, everything else went pretty well. Coming out of it, I really didn't know what to expect. I just went back and took a couple of days off. I've been training ever since then, but the draft is here now, so I feel pretty good with teams I've been talking to.
On what teams he spoke with at Pro Timing Day: Indianapolis showed the most interest. I did some workouts for them and Philadelphia, so coming out of Pro Timing Day, Indianapolis was showing the most interest. After that, the Rams called this week, their receivers coach. My agent has been in contact with Dallas and Chicago as well.
On his preparations for the draft since the season ended: I made a switch and changed my training up a little bit, and I feel really good. It's probably been the last three weeks that I've really felt good. I'm prepared for rookie camp, and then I'll have a little more time after rookie camp to come back to Austin and train some more before mini camp. Going into the draft, I feel really good and I just can't wait to go somewhere and play.
On his plans for the draft: My family wanted to throw me a pretty big get together, but I just told them I wanted my immediate family. I have two older sisters and my older brother now has family, so I just told them my immediate family. We'll get together Saturday and Sunday. Hopefully Saturday I would know where I'm going, but we'll probably get together again on Sunday and go from there.
On the positives of the possibility of free agency: My agent and I have talked about that, it being a plus. If it did happen, I could try to put myself in the best possible situation there is. Sometimes guys can get drafted into a bad situation where there are a lot of guys at your position and it's not always the best.
On his team preference: Honestly, I grew up a Cowboys fan, and I'm from Texas, so if it worked out that I could play for the Cowboys that would be a plus, but really, just any teams that throw the ball and need receivers. St. Louis wouldn't be a bad place to play receiver.
On looking back at his UT career: I've really enjoyed it on and off the field. I think it's allowed me to grow, not only as an athlete, but as a person, and to prepare for things I'll face on the next level. The pressures that come with playing at The University of Texas have allowed me to better endure the pressures of the NFL. Looking back, I'm really please and I feel like myself and the senior class went out the right way. I don't have any regrets.
On missing Kickin' It: I'm going to miss it a lot. I'm actually training with Phillip now, so we reminisce about some of those times. That's also prepared me for a future as well, maybe in broadcasting.
