'LIVE THE DREAM' -- 2005 Texas Football National Championship season chronicled in official highlight DVD

AUSTIN, Texas -- The University of Texas and its partners, Host Communications and Collegiate Images, have contracted with StarGames LLC and Hart Sharp Video to produce an official highlight DVD of the school's 2005 football campaign and national championship-clinching victory in the 2006 Rose Bowl.
Beginning with the 2005 Rose Bowl victory over Michigan, the "Live the Dream: The Texas Longhorns' Magical March to the National Championship" DVD captures the entire Texas football season, which culminated with a thrilling come-from-behind 41-38 victory over previously undefeated and defending national champion USC.
The DVD chronicles the Longhorns' return to the top of collegiate football rankings with its fourth national title and first since 1970. It sets the stage by describing the passion about Texas Football, moving viewers from the high school fields that gave us Friday Night Lights to the championship years under Texas coaching great Darrell Royal.
"Live the Dream" traces the Longhorns' perfect season, beginning with spring practice and summer workouts in the Texas heat and extending through BCS Championship game week and the aftermath. It goes behind the scenes with Texas Head Coach Mack Brown and his staff as they devise game plans to win key national match-ups against Ohio State, Red River Rivalry foe Oklahoma, and Big 12 Championship game opponent Colorado. The product also showcases quarterback Vince Young's amazing season, including retrospective commentary from the consensus All-American, Maxwell Award winner, and Davey O'Brien Award winner on one of the greatest individual performances in athletics history.
