Ten things you need to know about Jacqueline Williams

Ever wanted to know more about your favorite Texas softball players? This season, find out 10 things you need to know about them, straight from their teammates and coaches.
1. Mama Williams. "Jackie believes she's my mom, but worse! She corrects my English, reminds me to lock car doors and does my hair. Yep, she's my mom," says freshman Shannon Thomas.
2. "Mirror, mirror on the wall." Sophomore Desiree Williams says, "Jackie is the only person who could stare at herself all day and never get tired." Cat Osterman says that Jackie tends to take pictures of herself. She has a whole album with pictures of nothing of herself. "I remember last year when she had her own apartment, I looked around and only saw picture frames with pictures of Jackie by herself. Unbelievable," says Tina Boutelle.
3. Sister, Sister! "She thinks she's related to everyone! First, she said we were twins. Then it was her and Dez who were the 'real' Williams sisters. And now it's Shannon who's her sister," says fellow junior Megan Willis. She also claims Boutelle as her stepsister. Funny thing is, she actually has four brothers and no sisters, so she's making up for lost time.
4. Coming from deep within. "She has a belly laugh that could bring a smile to anyone's face," says MicKayla Padilla. You can hear her distinctive laugh from a mile away and know it's Jackie. She is always laughing at someone or at something someone does.
5. Saturday Night Fever. Jackie is one of the most entertaining dancers you could meet. "She loves to dance no matter where she is. Even if there is no music playing she will still dance. She even taught Coach Looper how to do the Chicken Head and Harlem Shake," says Boutelle. Watch out John Travolta, Jackie might give you a run for your money in a dance-off!
6. A future as a Nike rep? "She should have to rent a separate apartment for all the Nike shoes she owns," says Coach Connie Clark. Jackie loves her shoes. "She has the same pair of shoes in like six different colors, I promise," says freshman Kelly Melone. The worse thing about how many Nikes she has is the fact that she has the Nike warm-ups to match. Don't mess with a girl and her shoes.
7. Ring her up ... if you can! Clark says, "Jackie is the cell phone queen. She changes numbers more than T-shirts!" She changed her cell phone number four times in one year because she is so popular. "I have never heard a phone have so many different ring tones in my life. Every time I see her, she has to make me listen to her new ring tone. She should be in a texting race with Dez and Cat. I would really like to see who can text faster," says Boutelle.
8. You're kidding right ... right? "You can never tell if she's being serious or sarcastic," says freshman Brittany Reliford. Jackie can keep a straight face while joking with you and you just sit there waiting for her to laugh, but she doesn't.
9. "Yackity Yack". "Jackie is always up for conversation about boys or the latest hip hop jams," says senior Chez Sievers. She can talk your ear off about practically anything that pops into her head. "If you have any question about something happening in the 'celebrity world', ask Jackie," says Boutelle
10. Lyrical Queen. "She knows everything about music, especially lyrics to songs. Jackie is always jamming to something," says pitcher Megan Denny. "You know when you listen to rap and you have no idea what they are saying, that's when you ask Jackie. She will tell you every lyric of the song even if you just wanted to know one verse," Boutelle says.
