INDIVIDUAL NOTES
Chykie Brown
- Brown's sack midway through the first quarter was his second of the season and the third of his career.

Marquise Goodwin
- Goodwin's 34-yard reception midway through the first quarter was a season-long.

Lamarr Houston
- Houston's sack at the end of the first quarter was sixth of the season and 13th of his career.

Cody Johnson
- Johnson's TD runs at the end of the first quarter give him 12 for the season and 24 for his career.

Eddie Jones
- Jones' sack early in the first quarter was his fifth of the season and moved his career total to 7.5.

James Kirkendoll
- Kirkendoll's two TD receptions gave him four for the season and five for his career.
- Kirkendoll set career-highs with eight receptions and two TD receptions.

Hunter Lawrence
- Lawrence's 49-yard field goal midway through the second quarter was a career long.
- Lawrence is now 20-of-23 on the season (.870), including 8-of-10 on attempts of 40 yards or more.
- Lawrence moved into a tie for second place on the UT single-season field goal list with 20, two shy of the record of 22 set by Kris Stockton in 2000.
- Lawrence now has 112 points on the season, tied with Ryan Bailey (2007) for second place on UT's single-season list, one point shy of the school-record of 113 set by David Pino in 2005.

Colt McCoy
- With a 43-7 career record, McCoy set the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) record for career QB victories, passing David Greene (Georgia - 42-10).
- McCoy threw four or more TD passes for the eighth time in his career.
- Over the last five games, McCoy has completed 130-of-169 passes (76.9%) for 1,487 yards and 14 TDs (2 INTs) for a passer rating of 175.8.
- McCoy's four TD passes give him 23 for the season and 108 for his career.
- McCoy extended his school-record streak to 28 consecutive games with a TD pass. His 28-game streak is the longest active streak in the nation.
- McCoy has thrown a TD pass in 47 of his 50 starts.
- McCoy has thrown at least two TD passes in 34 of his 50 starts.
- McCoy became the first player in Big 12 Conference history to throw for 20 or more TDs in four different seasons.
- McCoy has thrown for at least 200 yards 37 times in his 50 career games.
- McCoy has thrown for at least 300 yards for the 14th time in his career.
- McCoy passed for 200 yards in the first half of a game for the 12th time in his career.
- McCoy punted for the sixth time in his career, he's pinned the opposition inside the 20 on all six punts.
- With three TD passes, McCoy has been responsible for 126 TDs during his career. He is passed Rice's Chase Clement (124), Hawaii's Timmy Chang (123) and Florida's Danny Wuerffel (122) for sixth place on the NCAA career TDs responsible for list.
- McCoy became the fifth player in NCAA FBS history to reach the 14,000-yard plateau for total offense. He ended the game with 14,172.
- McCoy passed Tim Rattay (Louisiana Tech - 12,746), Luke McCown (Louisiana Tech - 12,666), Chris Redman (Louisville - 12,541), Chris Daniel (Missouri - 12,515) and Kliff Kingsbury (Texas Tech - 12,429) to move into seventh place on the NCAA FBS history on the career passing yardage list with (12,746).
- McCoy ended the game with 1,417 career rushing yards to pass Ted Koy (1,397) for 27th place on the UT career list.
- McCoy's 396 passing yards ranks seventh on the UT single-game list and his third-highest career total for passing yards in a game.
- McCoy ended the game with 425 yards of total offense, the fourth of his career, tying Vince Young for the school record. The 425 yards ranks sixth on UT's single-game list.
- McCoy ended the game with 3,024 passing yards on the season. He now owns three of UT's six 3,000-yard seasons.
- McCoy ended the game with 3,217 yards of total offense on the season to move into fourth place on UT's single-season chart. He now owns three of UT's top four seasons and owns three of UT's six 3,000-yard seasons.

Tre' Newton
- Newton's 19-yard TD run was his fifth TD of the season.
- Newton set career-bests for receptions (3) and receiving yards (36).
- Newton set a career-best for all-purpose yardage with 102 yards, topping the 91 yards he had against Texas Tech.

Alex Okafor
- Okafor's sack was the first of his career.

Keenan Robinson
- Robinson's sack midway through the second quarter was his first of the season and the second of his career.

Jordan Shipley
- Shipley finished the game with 1,204 receiving yards on the season to set a UT single-season record (old record - Kwame Cavil - 1,188).
- Shipley caught 10 or more passes for the fifth time this season and the seventh time in his career.
- Shipley's TD 38-yard TD reception early in the second quarter give him nine for the season and 29 for his career.
- Shipley registered his sixth 100-yard receiving game of the season and the ninth of his career.
- Shipley ended the game with 91 receptions to become jus the third player in UT history to reach the 90-reception plateau, trailing only Kwame Cavil (100 - 1999) and Quan Cosby (92 - 2008).
- Shipley moved into eighth place on the Big 12 Conference career TD reception list with 29.

Earl Thomas
- Thomas tied the UT single-season interception record with his seventh of the season. He has nine for his career.
- Thomas moved into second place on UT's single-season list for interception return yardage with 149. He trails only Jack Crain (160 - 1940).
- Thomas returned a punt for a career-long 50 yards. Coming into the game, Thomas had returned three punts for a total of eight yards.

Malcolm Williams
- Williams' 68-yard TD reception midway through the third quarter was his second of the season and the fifth of his career. The reception yardage was a season-long for Williams.
- Williams recorded his second career 100-yard receiving game and the first this season.
- Williams six receptions marked a equaled the career-high he set against UCF two weeks ago.
