Hey Longhorn fans,
Today is our third day out here in California, and things are going really well. This morning we started off with our meetings, where we went over film and game play. Then we went to practice and had a good practice as a team as a whole. I think we are ready for Alabama and what they bring to the table.
Afterwards we came back to the hotel. During my downtime, I actually played the pinball machine in the players lounge. Then I went up to my room, took a nap, and watched some of the NFL games.
We went to the Improv theatre tonight, and it was awesome. Everybody was laughing and had a great time. All of the comedians were really funny. The funniest thing about the Improv was some of the comedians would get together and talk about some of our teammates. They would bring up jokes and make fun of them. For instance, Lamarr got a miniature chihuahua for Christmas, and the comedians were picking on such a little dog for a such a big guy and how he might hurt it just by squeezing it.
Also, Sergio got up on stage and did a rap for the audience, and Lamarr led the theatre in singing Texas Fight.
It is a great feeling to be back in California and to try to help these seniors go out with a bang. The National Championship is something we all play for, what we came to Texas for, and what we play college football for, so it is a good feeling to be out here and able to help the seniors in any way that we can, whether it be on the field, off the field, or just through passive influence.
That is about it for me today. Now, I'll probably get off my feet, relax, and rest a little bit more.
Hook `em,
Fozzy
