March 29, 2010
When the 83rd Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays presented by State Farm come to Mike A. Myers Stadium on The University of Texas campus, Austin will be hosting 50,000 visitors from around the globe. From March 31- April 3, the historic track meet will bring together 5,000 world class high school, college and professional athletes.
Former coach Clyde Littlefield and UT athletics director Theo Bellmont started a men's-only meet in 1925. Women's events were added in 1963, and the event has continued to grow into the second-largest track meet in the United States.
When not at the track, diverse Austin has a little something to offer everyone.
