NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Whitney Hand scored 23 points, Aaryn Ellenburg had 21 and No. 14 Oklahoma cruised to a 91-62 victory over Texas on Saturday night.
Danielle Robinson added 12 points and freshman center Nicole Griffin scored 11 to help the Sooners (19-7, 9-3 Big 12) rebound from its worst defeat in nearly 33 years with its largest win against the Longhorns. Oklahoma lost to at No. 2 Connecticut 86-45 on Monday.
Kathleen Nash and Chassidy Fussell scored 17 points each for Texas (17-9, 6-6), and Tiffany Moore added 13 points.
Robinson picked up three fouls in the first 11 minutes and got her fourth only 3 minutes into the second half. She totaled only 17 minutes.
Ellenberg's 3-pointer from the corner gave Oklahoma a 30-point lead less than 8 minutes into the second half.
Hand scored 18 points in the first half to help the Sooners take a 46-30 lead at the break. Oklahoma finished shooting 55 percent (36 for 66) overall - including 7 for 12 on 3-pointers - and outscored the Longhorns 44-14 in the paint.
Texas was at 35 percent (17 for 49) and committed 25 turnovers.
Oklahoma took a 16-point lead on Hand's 3-pointer from the wing with 15 seconds left in the first half. Texas turned the ball over on its first two possessions of the second half as Oklahoma stretched an 8-0 run through the halftime break.
Oklahoma went on a 7-0 run early in the first half and held Texas to four points in the 7 minutes following the run.
The Longhorns went more than 5 minutes without a basket in the first half. After Fussell ended the streak with 6:33 left, Oklahoma went on another 6-0 run.
