The University of Texas men's tennis team travels to Fort Worth, Texas for the USTA/ITA Texas Regional Championship beginning on Saturday and lasting until next Tuesday.
The Texas Region is one of 12 ITA regions that will send players to the USTA/ITA National Intercollegiate Championships.
The winners of the singles and doubles draw advance to the USTA/ITA National Intercollegiate Championships, which are Nov. 8-10 at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, N.Y.
Headlining the doubles draw for Texas is the top-seeded pair of Chris Camillone and David Holiner and the No. 2 seeded Ben Chen and Daniel Whitehead.
The Longhorns also feature four top 10-seeded singles players - No. 3 Whitehead, No. 5 Holiner and No. 6 Sudanwa Sitaram. No. 2 Soren Hess-Olesen withdrew from the event due to injury.
Admission to all matches at the USTA/ITA Texas Regional are free.
