Haley Eckerman named to 2012 Capital One Academic All-District 7 second team

Texas Volleyball sophomore outside hitter Haley Eckerman has been named to the 2012 Capital One Academic All-District 7 second team based on her 3.39 grade-point-average. The All-American, who is majoring in education, is the first Longhorn to earn the all-district distinction since Jennifer Doris earned third team honors in 2010.
This is the 13th time since 2005 that a Texas Volleyball player has been named to an academic all-district team.
