Volleyball: Fan Guide
ADA Accommodations
- Animals: Certified service animals or service animals in training for guests with disabilities are welcome at Gregory Gym. All service animals must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times. No other animals are allowed in the facility.
- Concessions: Gregory Gym has modified condiment tables for easy access by disabled guests.
- Parking: ADA parking is available in the Special Accommodation spaces along 21st Street near Gregory Gym as space is available with your ADA state issued placard or license plate.
- Restrooms: Disabled accessible stalls are located in the men's restroom & women’s restroom in the lobby on the arena level of Gregory Gym.
- Seating: Disabled seating is located on the arena floor in Gregory Gym. Patrons must have a reserved ticket designated for ADA seating areas. If available for purchase, ADA tickets are available at texaslonghorns.com/tickets.
Alcohol
Alcoholic beverages are not allowed inside of Gregory Gymnasium.
Arrival & Gate Entry
Fans will be required to enter through the main entrance right in front of the plaza. ADA guests and their accompanying seating group may enter at the glass front doors. Gates open an hour prior to the first serve. Ticket Resolution representatives are available in the front of plaza to provide mobile ticket supports. Ticket Resolution will open 60 minutes prior to first serve.
Binoculars
Binoculars and their cases are permitted in the facility, subject to inspection at all entrances.

- Internet audio: Listen to select Texas Volleyball matches online via the Texas Longhorns Audio Player (FREE!).

Child Ticket Policy
Children under the age of two do not require a ticket as long as the child is held and does not take up a seat.
Clear Bag Policy
A clear bag policy is in effect to enhance existing security measures and expedite venue entry at Texas Athletics events on the Forty Acres.
Approved bags include:
- Bags that are clear plastic and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
- One-gallon clear resealable plastic storage bags
- Clutch bags, purses, or wallets that are smaller than 4.5” x 6.5”
Prohibited bags include:
Non-clear bags that exceed 4.5” x 6.5” OR clear bags that exceed 12” x 6” x 12”. This includes items such as grocery totes, mesh or straw bags, duffle bags, diaper bags*, camera/binocular cases, and any other bags that stadium event staff deem do not meet the clear bag policy.
*Items normally carried in a diaper bag must be put into a clear plastic bag for venue entry.
Code of Conduct
Texas Athletics is committed to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all fans, staff, players and coaches. To help us provide this first-class environment, we ask that all patrons and attendees follow these guidelines:
- Contribute to making the environment of Texas Athletics the very best by upholding the spirit of collegiate athletics.
- Ensure all fans are treated in a consistent, professional and polite way by all staff and team personnel.
- Support our teams in a positive manner while treating visiting fans, teams and officials with dignity and respect.
- Promote an environment that minimizes disruption, creates a safe atmosphere for all, prevents interference with the game and ensures the enjoyment of the game for everyone.
- Refrain from using foul or abusive language or inappropriate gestures or attire.
- Be responsible when consuming alcoholic beverages. Impairment, intoxication, underage consumption and unruly behavior will be addressed immediately.
- Sit only in the seat designated on your ticket and be prepared to present the ticket, if requested.
- Acknowledge that The University of Texas at Austin is a tobacco-free campus, including e-cigarettes and smokeless tobacco.
- Comply with emergency messages, emergency procedures and requests from staff concerning the facility and gameday operations.

Sportsmanship Policy
Texas Athletics and the Southeastern Conference value sportsmanship, both on and off the field and in the stands. Texas is committed to providing a safe environment for all student-athletes, coaches and officials and a fun, entertaining atmosphere for all fans, free from disorderly behavior, including foul, sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, obscene or abusive language or gestures. Any spectators creating an unsafe environment or who interferes with the game by coming onto the court at any time will be removed from the facility.
Refusal to adhere to the Code of Conduct and Sportsmanship Statement may result in ejection from the facility, without refund. Violation of laws or city ordinances may result in arrest and prosecution.. Please report any issues concerning this Code of Conduct to a security guard or event staff personnel, or use the text messaging feature noted below the videoboard.
Concessions
Concession stands offer a variety of food and beverages. No outside food or drink is permitted inside Gregory Gym. All transactions for concessions locations will be contactless and cashless (credit cards, debit cards, and pre-paid cards only).
Contactless Transactions & Credit Cards
All transactions for concessions and merchandise locations at Moody Center will be contactless and cashless (credit cards, debit cards, and pre-paid cards only).
Major credit cards are accepted at the Texas Longhorns Official Team Shop, as well as all permanent concession stands.
Donation Requests
Requests for autographed items for nonprofit/charitable purposes must be submitted to the Texas Longhorns Official Team Shop. For more information, please refer to the Texas Athletics Autographed Items/Donation Requests Policy.

Elevator
The elevator located at the ground entrance level to Gregory Gym can be used by the general public to access the arena floor.
Emergency, First Aid/EMS
For any emergency at Gregory Gymnasium, notify the nearest usher or police officer.
The first aid is located court side in section 12. This station is staffed by emergency medical technicians from St. David’s HealthCare. If you are in need of medical attention, please notify the nearest usher or police officer. Arena staff are trained to call for immediate response and assistance in emergency situations.
Game Dates & Times
Texas Volleyball match dates and times are subject to change. In the event a match date or time change should occur, the information will be posted on TexasLonghorns.com, official social media platforms, and communicated through the local media.
Learfield Longhorn Sports Properties
Learfield is Texas Athletics' multimedia rights vendor, which does business in Austin as Longhorn Sports Properties (LSP). LSP produces and delivers conventional over-the-air radio, with iHeart Austin’s affiliate 1300 AM "The Zone” serving as flagship station. LSP also represents all corporate sponsorship sales for Texas Athletics, including those elements appearing in signage, gameday publications, consumer and retail promotions, social media and video. Lost & Found
During the match, lost items should be reported to an usher. After the match, call UTPD at 512-471-4441. Lost children should be reported to the nearest usher.
Mobile App
Fans at home will have the opportunity to access additional Texas Longhorns content including:
- Real-time news and featured content
- Updated team rosters and stats
- Live matchday radio broadcasts and match streaming links (restrictions apply)
- Ability to purchase tickets to future Texas Athletics events
- Access to purchase merchandise from the Texas Longhorns Official Team Shop
Mobile Tickets
To offer greater convenience and safety, mobile-only ticketing will provide contactless entry to Gregory Gym for all Texas Volleyball matches. All ticket holders will access tickets through TexasLonghorns.com/MyAccount on Apple and Android devices. Tickets will be available to download and store on your digital wallets. You can download, share, and manage your tickets prior to gameday.
- Step 1: Your tickets will be emailed to the email address used to originally purchase tickets prior to the game.
- Step 2: Download your tickets and save them to your smartphone’s digital wallet.
- Step 3: You can manage, share, transfer, or sell your tickets on SeatGeek by logging into your account at TexasLonghorns.com/MyAccount.
- Step 4: On gameday, make sure your tickets are in your digital wallet and note your entry gate before heading to the game.
To expedite entry and ensure the best possible gameday experience, fans should download their tickets prior to arrival and enter through the gate shown on their mobile ticket. Please note, screenshots of tickets will NOT be accepted.
Scanning Your Tickets On Gameday
- Step 1: Open your mobile ticket in your digital wallet as you approach your entry gate
- Step 2: Use ticket readers to scan your ticket using the scanner at the entry gate and you’re in!

Point Texas
Point Texas Club is only for donors with an annual gift of $500+ and Texas Volleyball season tickets.
Longhorn Foundation member at the Icon Level ($500+) receive access to Point Texas Club. The Point Texas Club is the exclusive hospitality area for donors at the Icon Membership Level with Texas Volleyball season tickets. Located in the Games Room at Gregory Gym, members can grab a snack and beverage prior to the match while listening to a Texas Volleyball coach, athletics staff or special guest speaker.
Prohibited Items
- No smoking
- No outside food or drink
- Large bags (see Clear Bag Policy)
- No recording devices
- No hard containers
- No firearms, weapons or fireworks
- No banners or noisemakers
- No video cameras
- No items deemed unacceptable by building management
- No noisemakers.
- Southeastern Conference and NCAA rules prohibit artificial noisemakers from being brought inside the facility. This includes, but is not limited to, all horns (including air horns), cow bells, thunder sticks, and whistles. Prohibited items will be confiscated.
- No concealed handguns pursuant to Section 30.06, Penal Code (trespass by license holder with a concealed handgun), a person licensed under Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code (handgun licensed law). Re-Entry Policy
There is a no re-entry policy for all Texas Volleyball matches in Gregory Gym.
Resale of Tickets - Scalpers & Ticket Brokers
Per University of Texas Regents' Rules (Chapter VI, Section 6): The resale of athletics tickets, for any amount of money, on a University of Texas property, constitutes solicitation and is strictly prohibited unless permitted as defined by the Regents' Rules and Regulations. Subjects found soliciting on University of Texas property can receive a criminal trespass warning and will be required to leave University of Texas property immediately or be subject to arrest for criminal trespass.
Security
(also see Prohibited items)
- Suspicious activity, disruptive patrons and guest-related problems should be reported to an usher or police officer immediately. Uncooperative patrons showing disregard for other patrons, the facility or the teams may be ejected from the building. Intoxicated fans will not be allowed into the facility. An ejected patron will not be allowed to return for the remainder of the game. Re-entry by an ejected patron is grounds for arrest.
- You and your belongings may be searched upon entry into the facility. By tendering your ticket and entering the facility, you consent to such searches and waive any related claims that you might have against The University of Texas. If you elect not to consent to a search, you will not be allowed into the facility.v
Smoking & Tobacco Policy
The University of Texas at Austin is a tobacco-free campus. This policy prohibits the use of any tobacco products on campus grounds, including parking areas, parking structures, lawns and sidewalks. All forms of tobacco including, but not limited to, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars, smokeless tobacco, snuff and chewing tobacco, are banned from campus.
Solicitation
The University of Texas does not permit unauthorized soliciting or collecting of contributions, vending, distribution of fliers or other promotional/advertising materials on University of Texas property.
Special Announcements
Special announcements on the public address system and scoreboard are limited to medical and police emergencies. Gregory Gym does not announce or display birthday, anniversary or other personal messages on the public address system or scoreboard.

Tickets Resolution
Ticket Resolution representative are located at the front plaza entry. Ticket Resolution will available starting 60 minutes prior to the match to provide mobile ticket assistance.

Weapons
No weapons of any kind are permitted in the Moody Center or in any designated UT venue. This policy includes weapons used by off-duty law enforcement officers. Firearms must be secured at either the UT Police Department (corner of Dedman and Littlefield drives) or within an individual's vehicle.
