Hey Longhorn fans!!
This is Nadia Taylor checking in from Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. We are down here getting ready for a big game tomorrow afternoon against UCLA. We just finished a great practice and everybody is really excited for tomorrow's game. It will be a physical game and a great test for us early in the season.
It is such a great opportunity to get to play in a huge venue like Reliant Stadium. It's very exciting for the team and for the fans, especially those in Houston that may not get to see us play very often! I think it's awesome that the men's team is playing here, too. We know that the stadium will be full of Longhorn fans cheering us on.
For me and a couple other players, it is nice to get to play in a game so close to home. I love getting the chance to bring the team to my hometown. I got so excited when we started to see Houston driving in on the bus. I love seeing all my favorite restaurants and places where I used to shop growing up.
I will have some family and friends watching us at the game. I love that they will get a chance to see us play. Some of them have not seen me play at Texas in a basketball uniform yet, so I couldn't be more excited!.
We are pumped for tomorrow's game and looking forward to the chance to play in front of all our great fans. Thank you guys for the support -- you guys are by far the best fans in the country!!
