PHOENIX – No. 3 Texas Women's Basketball dropped a 51-44 decision to No. 2 UCLA in the NCAA Final Four on Friday at Mortgage Matchup Center. The Longhorns concluded the 2025-26 season with a 35-4 overall record while making back-to-back Final Four appearances for the first time since 1987.
Senior Rori Harmon concluded her final game as a Longhorn with eight points, five rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Harmon capped off her Texas career as both all-time steal leader and all-time assists leader. The Houston native now holds the program assist record at 977, steal record at 388. With tonight's eight, Harmon now sits at 17th in all-time scoring as a Longhorn with 1,616 points.
Texas forced 23 turnovers against the Bruins and held a 14-5 advantage in steals. Senior Kyla Oldacre registered 11 points, reaching 1,000 career points. Oldacre shot 5-for-10 on the field, grabbing seven rebounds for the Longhorns in 27 minutes.
Texas concluded the first half limiting UCLA to only 20 points and forced 12 turnovers on the Bruins. The Longhorns recorded eight steals, with Rori Harmon, Ashton Judd, and Aaliyah Crump each adding two.
With the Longhorns down eight points with 1:43 minutes to go in the third quarter, sophomore Justice Carlton scored seven straight points, cutting UCLA's lead to only one point with 49 seconds left in the third period. In the span, Carlton made an and-one layup and two jumpers.
Sophomore Jordan Lee tallied seven points with two layups and a 3-point jump shot. Lee, Carlton, and Oldacre each recorded seven points in the second half, with Oldacre grabbing six rebounds.

- The Longhorns made their fifth NCAA Final Four appearance in program history.
