POST-MATCH COMMENTS
Texas head coach Patty Fendick-McCain
"I really liked those matches at Nos. 2 and 3 doubles, especially at No. 3. They were so aggressive to win that match in the end. That was a complete turnaround from what we saw on Friday. They were terrific out there together. Krista (Damico) went against a great player at No. 1 (Petra Niedermayerova). I thought she would get the second set to extend the match, but it wasn't meant to be. She fought hard. Noel (Scott) had chances and opportunities, and as a coach, that's all you want to see is having opportunities to get to that third set. At Nos. 3 through 6, we saw some "lights-out" tennis. It was just great to watch. We'll go back to work and rest up over the next couple of weeks. We'll go back to work on some things that will help us out in the next five matches.
