Ivory-Ganja earns third Big 12 weekly honor

UT junior diver Emma Ivory-Ganja selected for the third time as the league’s Women’s Diver of the Week.
IRVING, Texas – The Big 12 Conference announced Wednesday the selection of Texas junior diver Emma Ivory-Ganja as the league's Women's Diver of the Week. This marks Ivory-Ganja's second consecutive Big 12 Women's Diver of the Week selection and her third of the fall.
Ivory-Ganja won the 19-diver three-meter event with a season-best total of 362.55 points at the UT Diving Invitational (Nov. 21-23). Ivory-Ganja (The Woodlands, Texas) added fourth-place finishes in the one-meter event (306.30) and the platform event (280.40) at the UT Diving Invite.
Ivory-Ganja is in her first season at Texas after competing at UCLA during her freshman and sophomore seasons. Ivory-Ganja earned All-America honors in the platform event last season for the Bruins.
Ivory-Ganja and the Texas divers resume competition on Dec. 17 at the USA Diving Winter National Championships in Austin.
