NOTE: Texas did not compete on the first day (Sunday) of the Key Biscayne Invitational due to travel complications.
The University of Texas Men's Tennis team will begin the 2014 season at the Key Biscayne Invitational in Key Biscayne, Fla., from Sunday, Jan. 5 through Tuesday, Jan. 7.
The Invitational will be round-robin format with singles and doubles draws between individuals on the four teams - No. 20 Texas, Denver, No. 24 LSU and No. 26 Michigan. Team results will not be recorded. Singles and doubles champions will be named at the end of the event.
Results will be exclusively available on TexasSports.com at the end of competition each day.
Last season at the Key Biscayne Invitational, the Longhorns finished with a combined singles record of 13-9 and combined doubles record of 8-3.
The Longhorns debuted at No. 20 in the ITA Rankings released on Thursday with three ranked singles players (No. 24 George Goldhoff, No. 35 Lloyd Glasspool, No. 75 Søren Hess-Olesen) and three ranked doubles teams (No. 5 Lloyd Glasspool / Søren Hess-Olesen, No. 35 David Holiner / Lloyd Glasspool, No. 55 George Goldhoff / Jacoby Lewis).
