This Saturday, March 1, UT Austin hosts its annual Explore UT: The Biggest Open House in Texas.
This Saturday, March 1, The University of Texas at Austin campus hosts its annual Explore UT: The Biggest Open House in Texas. People of all ages come to campus from across the state, and almost 400 school buses -- carrying teachers, parents and students -- are expected to converge on the Forty Acres.
As part of the day's events, UT Athletics invites everyone to visit the Red McCombs Red Zone, located in the north end of Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, for a variety of events and activities for all ages.
The UT Athletics experience is just one part of more than 400 events and activities happening all across campus. Explore UT is a day of performance, exhibits, lectures and hands-on activities for the entire family.

Know what it feels like to be a Longhorn? Come strike a pose at the UT Athletics photo booth. Here is your chance to dress in Texas Longhorns burnt orange athletic gear. Bring your camera for this great photo opportunity!
Temporary Tattoo Station
Show off your Texas spirit by coming to the temporary tattoo station to get a temporary Longhorns tattoo painted on your face or arm!
UT Athletics Trophies and Traditions
View historical trophies highlighting the history of UT Athletics. Bring your camera for photo ops with life-size cutouts of famous student-athletes as well as Big Bertha, the largest bass drum in the world.
Longhorns Spirit Station
Show your "Texas Fight" at the Longhorn Spirit Station. Create your very own Texas poster to cheer on the Longhorns. Test your luck with our bean bag toss for a chance to win a great prize.

The Texas Football Experience
Experience the North End Zone tunnel as Texas Football does on gameday! Bring your camera for photo opportunities at the edge of the field, with championship trophies and life-size cutouts of famous UT student-athletes.
Noon-12:40 p.m.
Hang out with Hook 'Em and Texas Cheer
Come down to the Red McCombs Red Zone for a chance to meet Hook 'Em, the official mascot of UT Athletics. Bring your camera for photo opportunities with your favorite Longhorns mascot.
Noon-1:40 p.m.
DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium Tours
Take a guided 30-minute tour of DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium. Must reserve in advance. Email FanServices@athletics.utexas.edu with preferred time and number of guests. Tours filled on a first-come, first-served basis, limit of 40.
1-1:40 p.m.
Meet your Horns
Come meet our student-athletes as they share their most memorable sports experiences. Also, hear advice about the importance of education and what steps should be taken to be a Texas Longhorn in the future! Bring your camera for photo opportunities.
2-3:40 p.m.
UT Athletics Film Room
Come see historic video footage from some of UT's most storied victories. Watch and learn about the great history of UT Athletics.
