- NCAA'S AWAY FROM AUSTIN: This is the eighth time UT has begun its Women's College World Series trek away from Austin. The Longhorns are 14-13 in NCAA Regional games on the road.
- PLAYING IN THE REGIONAL FINAL The Longhorns have reached the Championship round of the NCAA Regionals for the 9th time in program history. Texas is 6-2 in its previous eight appearances.
- WE'VE DONE IT BEFORE: This marks the 4th time that UT is attempting to win a Regional Championship out of the loser's bracket. When facing elimination in the Regional final, Texas is 1-2. After a loss on the opening day of play in the 2012 Austin, the Horns rallied back and won four-straight to claim the Austin Regional title and advance to Super Regionals.
- WE MEET AGAIN: Texas and Louisiana-Lafayette will meet for the fourth time this season. All three of the previous three games were played at Lamson Park. UT claimed wins on back-to-back days (Feb. 7 and Feb. 8) by counts of 10-7 and 7-3 before falling 2-1 on Saturday in the NCAA Regionals.
- LEGENDS ARE MADE: Texas' two wins have resulted on game-winning home runs by senior Brejae Washington and sophomore Lindsey Stephens (both vs. Mississippi State). Pitchers Tiarra Davis and Gabby Smith have each thrown a complete game win during UT's run in the 2014 NCAA Regionals.
- THOM'S TIME: Senior Taylor Thom leads the team with a .500 on-base percentage. In 10 at-bats, she has reached base five times, including a pair of hits and three walks. She scored UT's only run on Saturday vs. UL-Lafayette with a solo home run, which was her fourth career postseason blast.
- DAVIS DELIVERS: In postseason play, freshman Tiarra Davis has tossed complete-games in both outings. She has held opponents scoreless in three of her last seven games, including a 1-0 victory on Friday vs. Mississippi State.
- A WINNING GROUP: Texas' senior class is the second-winningest in program history with 179 victories. The total is nine wins shy of last year's senior quartet, who left UT with 187 victories.
- ANOTHER CLOSE ONE: Texas' last five games have been decided by one run, which is tied for most consecutive in school history. The Longhorns are 3-2 in that stretch.
- CEO'S SEEING IT: Coming into Sunday, sophomore Stephanie Ceo leads Texas with a .400 batting average in postseason play. Her base hit in Saturday's seventh inning against Mississippi State started UT's game-winning rally. In three games vs. ULL this season, she leads UT with a .500 batting avaerage (4-for-8).
- RBIS KING: With her three-run home run on Saturday, sophomore Lindsey Stephens passed teammate Taylor Thom for the most RBIs in a single season with her 67th of the year. The record has been broken in three-straight years. Thom finished 2013 with 66, breaking Lexy Bennett's mark of 57 in 2012.
