• RECENT SUCCESS AGAINST TCU: Texas has won nine straight and 13 of the last 14 meetings against TCU entering Monday's game in Fort Worth. The Horns a perfect 6-0 against the Horned Frogs during the Rick Barnes era.
• DEFENSE AND REBOUNDING: Texas held West Virginia to just 50 points on 24.1% FG shooting and posted a +12 (44-32) rebound margin in Saturday's win. The 24.1% marked a UT record for lowest FG percentage defense in a Big 12 regular-season contest.
• RIDLEY HAS DOMINANT EFFORT: Junior center Cameron Ridley posted a season-high 19 points (8-of-10 FG), six boards and four blocks in Saturday's home victory against No. 16/15 West Virginia. Ridley tied a career high in field goals made (8-of-10), set a season high in points (19) and tied his season high in blocked shots (four).

• Since Rick Barnes arrived in Austin prior to the 1998-99 season, the Longhorns have emerged as the dominant college basketball program in the state of Texas.
