• No. 3/3 Texas Women's Basketball hosts No. rv/25 West Virginia on Wednesday, Jan. 7 at 7 p.m. Central in Austin. The game will be televised nationally on Longhorn Network and broadcast on the Longhorn IMG Radio Network (AM 1300 KVET).
• TEXAS-WVU SERIES: WVU leads the all-time series with Texas, 4-2. The Longhorns split the last year's regular season series with the Mountaineers before losing in the semifinals of the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship. In the first-ever meeting between Texas and West Virginia, WVU defeated UT in the first round of the NCAA Championship, 68-55, on March 17, 2012 in Norfolk, Va.
• DAVENPORT ON A HOT STREAK: In the last two games, junior guard Empress Davenport is averaging 13.0 points, up from her career average of 7.6 points. The three-year starter has made two last-second shots to help keep the Longhorns unbeaten -- a basket to force overtime at Stanford and the game-winning layup against Texas A&M.
• ENEMKPALI LEADING BIG 12: Senior forward Nneka Enemkpali leads the Big 12 in rebounding (10.3 ppg) and ranks sixth in scoring (13.4 ppg). The national player of the year candidate is moving up the career statistic lists at Texas, ranking 13th in career rebounds (847) and 35th in career points (1,067). Enemkpali is on pace to become the fifth Longhorn with 1,000 rebounds and 1,000 points.
• DOUBLE-DOUBLE MACHINE: Enemkpali enters Wednesday with six consecutive double-doubles. During the six-game streak, she is averaging 15.5 points and 13.0 rebounds. Enemkpali has 28 career double-doubles, including seven this season.
• SANDERS ASSISTING: Junior guard Brady Sanders leads the Longhorns in assists (3.2 apg) and ranks third in the Big 12 in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.7).
• HOME COURT ADVANTAGE: Texas is 23-2 at the Frank Erwin Center since last season, including a 9-0 mark at home this season. The Longhorns have a +26.8 scoring margin through nine home games this season.
• POINTS IN THE PAINT: Texas is out-scoring its opponents in the paint by an average of 40-to-19. 54.1 percent of UT's offensive production comes in the paint (484 paint points / 894 total points).
• DEFENSE WINS: Texas has made its way to a 12-0 record with the 13th-ranked scoring defense in the country. The Longhorns are holding opponents to 52.9 points per game. Texas has held six opponents to under 50 points, including two under 40 points.
• QUICK STARTS: The Longhorns have led at halftime in 11 of 12 games and are holding opponents to an average of 21.7 first-half points. In nine home games this season, Texas is holding opponents to an average of 17.6 first-half points.
• NON-CONFERENCE PERFECTION: Texas became the first Longhorn team since 1985-86 to finish its non-conference regular season schedule with an undefeated record. The 2014-15 Longhorns are the fourth team in program history to begin the season with a perfect 11-0 record, marking UT's best start since the 2008-09 season (11-0). UT's current 11-game winning streak is the longest under Coach Aston.
• TOP 10 TOPPERS: Texas is 3-0 against top-10 teams this season with wins at No. 6/1 Stanford (Nov. 20), against No. 4/5 Tennessee (Nov. 30) in Austin against No. 4/5 Texas A&M in Little Rock, Arkansas.
