• FIRST TRUE ROAD TEST: Although the Longhorns have played four of their first 10 games outside the country at neutral sites, Saturday's contest marks UT's first game on an opponent's home court this year.
• TAYLOR RETURNS TO BAY AREA: Junior point guard Isaiah Taylor was born in Hayward, Calif., just a short drive across to the East Bay from the Stanford campus, and lived there through his sophomore year of high school. Taylor leads the team in scoring (13.6 ppg), assists (5.0 apg) and minutes (27.0 mpg) this season.
• RIDLEY'S NEAR TRIPLE-DOUBLE: Senior center Cameron Ridley was just one block shy of recording the second triple-double in Texas program history with his 19-point, 11-rebound, 9-block performance during Tuesday's win against Appalachian State. Ridley leads the team in rebounding (10.0 rpg) and blocks (33, 3.3 bpg) and ranks second in scoring (13.0 ppg) while hitting 64.0 percent (55-of-86) from the floor.
