• BARNES GOES FOR 400TH WIN AT TEXAS: Head coach Rick Barnes enters Saturday's game with an overall record of 399-175 in 17 seasons at Texas. With a win in Austin, Barnes would become just the eighth active NCAA Div I coach to reach the 400-win milestone at his CURRENT school.
• BLOCK PARTY: Texas leads the nation in blocked shots (7.7 bpg) through games of Feb. 18. The Longhorns tied their single-game school record (and set a school record for most blocks in a Big 12 game) with 13 blocks in Tuesday's loss at No. 17/17 Oklahoma.
• TURNER SEEING DOUBLE: Freshman forward Myles Turner has recorded back-to-back double-doubles for the first time in his collegiate career in the last two contests. During the stretch, Turner has averaged 21.0 points, 11.0 rebounds and 4.5 blocks per game while converting 15-of-22 (.682) field goals and 10-of-12 (.833) free throws.
