Longhorns to hold second home meet of the season on Saturday, April 11; Events begin at 10 a.m. at Mike A. Myers Stadium
Meet Schedule | Texas Invitational Preview
The Track and Field team will serve as host to the Texas Invitational on Saturday, April 11 at Mike A. Myers Stadium.
Field events start at 10 a.m. Central and running events begin at 2:30 p.m. Gates open at 8:30 a.m. and admission is free.
In addition to the nationally-ranked Texas men's and women's teams, the one-day, scored meet features the following schools:
• Air Force (men/women)
• Cal State Northridge (men/women)
• Minnesota (men)
• North Texas (men/women)
• Rice (men/women)
• Sam Houston State (men/women)
• Stephen F. Austin (men/women)
• UT-San Antonio (men/women)
There will also be a handful of unattached competitors in the field.
This will be second of three home meets this season. The Nike Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays was held March 25-28 and the Longhorn Invitational is set for Saturday, May 2.

Admission is free to at Mike A. Myers Stadium. Gates 1, 2 and 4 will open at 8:30 a.m.

Parking
A number of parking garages are within walking distance of Mike A. Myers Stadium, including Manor Garage which is on the west side of the facility. Parking rates are $12 (no in and out). For parking information or questions, visit the UT parking website or email parking@www.utexas.edu. *Sesame Street Live "Let's Dance" is taking place at the Erwin Center that day so there may be increased parking traffic.
Team Bus Parking
Buses will be allowed to drop off teams on the south curb line of Clyde Littlefield Drive between Robert Dedman Drive and Red River Street (athletes can then enter Myers Stadium through Gate 4). A limited amount of team bus parking is available on the southbound west curb line of Red River Street, between Clyde Littlefield Drive and Robert Dedman Drive in the "metered" spots. Longhorn Run
The Longhorn Run, a road race, will be held on and around the UT campus the morning of the meet and may impact travel to the stadium as well as parking. Click here to view race details, including a map and road closure information. The 10K race begins at 8 a.m. and the 5K at 8:20 a.m. The races start and finish at 21st Street and University Avenue.
