NEW CASTLE, Texas -- Former Texas Women's Basketball standout Vicki Hall (1988-93) was inducted to the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame on Saturday evening. She attended Brebeuf Jesuit Prep School in Indianapolis before becoming a Longhorn.
Hall is among 11 inductees of former players and coaches that make up the 14th Women's Induction Class to the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame.
She was crowned 1988 Indiana Miss Basketball and received Gatorade, Naismith and Parade Magazine National Player of the Year awards after scoring 1,755 career points at Brebeuf under hall-of-fame coach Alan Vickrey.
Hall scored 1,831 points at UT, where she was one of five named to Southwest Conference all-decade team, a three-time first team All-SWC honoree and the 1988-89 SWC Freshman of the Year. She was a member of teams that reached one NCAA Sweet 16 and two Elite Eights.
Her 16-year professional career spanned seven countries, including three seasons in the WNBA from 2000-02. Hall currently serves as the associate head coach at Toledo, a position she has held since 2012.
