2015 Battle 4 Atlantis bracket announced

PARADISE ISLAND, BAHAMAS -- The pairings for the 2015 Battle 4 Atlantis are officially set, ESPN announced Thursday. Texas and Texas A&M will meet in the first round on Wednesday, Nov. 25, and the game will be televised nationally by AXS TV. All tournament game times will be determined at a later date.

This will mark the first meeting on the court between UT and Texas A&M since a 70-68 Texas victory in College Station on Feb. 6, 2012. The Longhorns own a 137-85 advantage in the all-time series that dates back to the 1916-17 season.

In addition to the Longhorns and Aggies, the eight-team field includes Charlotte, Connecticut, Gonzaga, Michigan, Syracuse and Washington. As part of Atlantis' multi-year TV agreements for media rights with ESPN and AXS TV, all 2015 Battle 4 Atlantis games will be aired live on ESPN, ESPN2 and AXS TV. The entirety of the 12-game tournament will be played in Atlantis' 3,900-seat Imperial Arena.

The second round of games will be played on Thursday, Nov. 26. Texas will play either Gonzaga or Washington in the second round. The final round of the tournament will be played on Friday, Nov. 27.

AXS TV is available nationally on AT&T U-verse (channel 1106), DirecTV (channel 340), DISH (channel 167), Verizon FiOS (channel 569) as well as Charter, Comcast/Xfinity, Suddelink and other cable, satellite and telco providers.
