• OLD SWC RIVALS MEET FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2010-11: Texas and Arkansas, two former Southwest Conference rivals, meet for the first time since the Horns posted a 79-46 win in Austin on Jan. 4, 2011. UT has won three of the last four meetings between the two schools entering Saturday's neutral-site matchup.
• MACK'S HOT START: Sophomore Tevin Mack leads the team in scoring (15.0 ppg) while hitting 47.1% from the floor, including 42.2% from three-point range. He has reached double figures in scoring in 7 of his first 8 contests this year, including a team-high 18 points (16 in the second half) in last Saturday's win against Long Beach State.
• DAVIS RETURNS TO FORM: Sophomore guard Eric Davis Jr. posted 16 points (4-8 FG, 3-7 threes, 5-6 FT) in 25 minutes off the bench during last Saturday's victory against Long Beach State. It marked his first double-digit scoring effort since he had 10 points against Eastern Washington on Nov. 17 (span of five games).
