Notes:
• Texas is coming off its second loss of the season, a 3-2 heartbreaker to No. 6 Wisconsin at home. The Horns' only two losses on the season have come to top-six opponents. It was their first loss at home since September of 2015.
• Freshman Micaya White continues to impress, posting a career-high 23 kills on a team-high .302 hitting percentage. She also added four blocks, three of them solo and 11 digs. It was her first double-double of the season.
• The Longhorns are opening their Big 12 Conference season on the road at West Virginia, seeking their sixth-straight conference title. Texas is 14-6 all-time in home openers, including a 5-5 mark when opening on the road, but have won the last three conference openers on the road. UT opened its conference season in Morgantown in 2014, defeating the Mountaineers, 3-0.

-Texas has a 305-75 (.803) record in the Big 12 Conference all-time and a 150-10 (.938) record since 2007.
-The Longhorns have only lost 30 matches to all eight current Big 12 teams since 1974.
-The Horns have won five-straight Big 12 Championships.
-Texas has nine Big 12 Player of the Year honors and seven-consecutive (since 2009).
-Texas has had 126 All-Big 12 honors since its inception in 1996. The Longhorns set a record with seven players earning All-Big 12 postseason honors in 2015 (Amy Neal, Chiaka Ogbogu, Chloe Collins, Molly McCage, Paulina Prieto Cerame all First Team; Cat McCoy Second Team; Yaazie Bedart-Ghani Freshman Team)
