PRE-TOURNAMENT COMMENTS
Texas head coach Michael Center
There's always a strong field at this tournament. Some of our guys played really well last weekend, and some of them feel they can play better. At this point of the season, it's important to improve from week to week. This tournament gives us a good opportunity to do that.
LAST TIME OUT
Sophomore Colin Markes won six matches and claimed the men's singles title at the Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational in Midland.
