BASEBALL
It's the start of a new era, a new season and a new chapter for Texas Baseball under head coach David Pierce, and all UT Austin students are invited to the season opener on Friday, Feb. 17 for FREE.
The Longhorns host Rice at 6:30 p.m. Claim a ticket on the day of the game at the UFCU Disch-Falk Field box office window. Get there early to enjoy free burgers and grab a free T-shirt, courtesy of Mighty Fine Burges Fries & Shakes, while supplies last.
"The Bullpen," an all-new student section, launches on opening night.
Students are also encouraged to take the free shuttle from Manor Garage to UFCU Disch-Falk Field on game days.
SOFTBALL
Texas Softball will also be hosting a free game for UT students. Head to Red & Charline McCombs Field to watch the Longhorns take on the Texas State Bobcats at 6 p.m on Wednesday, March 1. Starting at 5 p.m., there will be free food for UT students, while supplies last.
Also new this year, students without the Big Ticket may purchase single game tickets the day of the game for just $4 for baseball and $3 for softball. Students can purchase tickets the day of the game at the box office while supplies last.
