• RECENT SUCCESS AGAINST THE WILDCATS: The Longhorns have won four of the last five meetings in the series against K-State entering Saturday's contest. UT swept the regular-season series in both 2014-15 and 2015-16, prior to dropping a 65-62 decision in Manhattan to open league play this year (Dec. 30).
• ALLEN CONTINUES TO SEE DOUBLE: Freshman forward Jarrett Allen recorded his 10th double-double of the season (most in the Big 12) and his sixth in Big 12 Conference play, with a 17-point, 10-rebound effort on Tuesday night at Oklahoma. In his first 13 league contests, Allen is averaging a team-best 16.3 points and 10.3 rebounds in 34.2 minutes per game while hitting 58.8 percent (87-148) from the field.
• ROACH STUFFS THE STAT SHEET: Sophomore guard Kerwin Roach Jr. has averaged 13.0 points, 5.0 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals in 34.0 minutes per game over the last two contests.
